Local Candles

Community is everything. It can foster a shared emotional connection, influence and social responsibility. Our LOCAL candle was dreamed up after the success of our MADE IN HAMILTON candle, we give proceeds from the sale of each MADE IN HAMILTON candle to the Hamilton Food Share. It is our hope that the LOCAL candle will inspire your own fundraiser with an organization close to your heart. With or without the fundraising aspect, the LOCAL candle inspires a heartfelt sentiment that people feel connected to.

Candle Care: Soy wax has a memory. Meaning that when you light your candle for the first time, allow the wax pool to melt all the way to the edge of the jar. The next time you burn your candle it will melt as far as it did the first time. This prevents the wax from tunnelling as it melts down the sides.

Caution: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn on or near anything that can catch fire. Don’t burn for more than 4 hours. Our wicks produce a large flower-like blossom which should be trimmed to 1/4” before each burn, use a tissue to pinch the blossom off. Do not allow debris to collect in wax pool. Snuff out the flame with lid or dip flaming wick into wax pool to extinguish.
